Trash Service: Best Trash. Trash pick up is Wednesday afternoons (non-recycle only) and Saturday mornings around 9 a.m. (both recycled and normal trash). We pay for this trash service as part of our MUDD Area 165 property tax. Contact them through this form if you are a new resident to request your trash bins.
Water Service: H20 Consulting. New residents must bring over an application to start water service and their closing documents to the H20 office to transfer water service into their name. They will notarize your application at their office. They charge a 4% online payment fee. You can complete the auto-draft application to have automatic payments draft from your bank accounts for only $1.00 instead of paying the 4% payment fee each time. Water bills can vary greatly based on how often the sprinklers run. Expect to pay between $50 to $250 per month. Water bill payments typically start 2-3 months after you transfer service to your name.
Electricity: Choose which ever provider is best for your needs. Search the options at PowerToChoose.org. Rates are typically lowest in the late winter and early spring (Decemeber-March). Aim for 13 cents per KWh or lower. The largest contributor to your power usage will be how often you run the A/C. Expect to pay between $100 to $300 per month.
